The Cross Stitch Collector blog will update readers on the progress, development and status of the Cross Stitch Collector website.

You’ve heard of Web 2.0 right? Well, I’m going for Cross-Stitch 2.0 with magazines and stitchers’ links. The main purpose of Cross Stitch Collector is to provide detailed information about designs that appear in various cross-stitching magazines. There will be extra features, including the fact that I will be incorporating the Mirabilia/TIAG/LL Gallery into this site. I am aiming to make this a collaborative site, so it is my hope that I’ll have some avid stitchers join me in sharing information about the site. My inspiration came from two main sources -LibraryThing and comic book collector software that I downloaded for Kalonji.

If you are interested in being a co-administrator, please let me know. I have not yet clearly defined the role of a co-administrator, but essentially, you’d help me maintain the site. Stay tuned….
